Hunter
Ambulance has been providing emergency and non-emergency transportation
to hospitals, nursing homes, and health related facilities in
the New York metropolitan area since 1982. Our successful and
controlled growth over the past several years is a direct result
of our attention to the needs of our clients, new system implementation,
fleet expansion, selective quality staffing, and our uncompromising
commitment to quality of care and service.
We
recognize that in order to provide quality service, we must have
the most up-to-date systems for medical transportation.

·
RightCAD-A state-of-the-art computer aided dispatch system, providing

Staff
·
Our fleet is staffed by New York State certified Emergency Medical
Technicians and paramedics, as well as 19A certified drivers providing
the finest care in the safest and friendliest environment.
·
A clinical excellence management program is mandatory for all
EMT's, paramedics, and on the road personnel. Quality assurance
audits serve as monitoring systems for all our staff involved
in patient care. Each employee is reviewed, tested, and graded
on their clinical skills and provided with in-service training
if needed. Hunter implemented this program based on the realization
that continuing education is needed in every profession in order
to maintain the highest level of professional standards.
·
Hunter has a quite extensive pre-employment process. All employees
are interviewed, drug screened, road tested, skills tested, and
are put through a two week training program. If they pass all
facets of the process, they are offered employment.
